Does HFOIL include volume CFD (Euler / RANS)?

No. HFOIL is CAD-only — aircraft geometry, assembly, drawings, and export. Aeronautical / aerospace volume CFD — Euler, RANS, high-lift, rotorcraft, rocket paths — lives in HENFLOW. Prepare meshes in HENMESH, then solve in HENFLOW.

Does HFOIL run panel analysis, polars, or optimisation?

No. HFOIL does not include panel methods, polar sweeps, VLM/LLT loading, batch ranking, or inverse design. Build and export geometry in HFOIL; run aerodynamic analysis in HENFLOW after mesh prep in HENMESH.

Can I build a complete aircraft, not just an airfoil?
