HENSYNTH is live: aircraft conceptual design in the browser

HENDOI · 29 October 2026

HENSYNTH is live. Geometry, requirements, Run, synthesize, Mission, Performance, Trades, Optimize and Reports — conceptual analysis only, not certification.

The aircraft workspace is live

HENSYNTH is live on HENDOI. It is the browser-based aircraft conceptual and preliminary design workspace: you define or import geometry, set mission requirements, run a multidisciplinary screening pass, read PASS and FAIL in a compliance table, and optionally synthesize four candidate aircraft from the same requirement set. The C++ engine computes atmosphere, weight, aerodynamics, propulsion, performance, takeoff, landing, and stability. The UI displays what the engine returns — it does not invent coefficients or claim wind-tunnel agreement.

This is conceptual and preliminary screening. It is not certification software, not a substitute for flight test, and not a badge that says a design is airworthy. Treat every number as a decision aid for early trade studies, not as evidence for a type certificate.

The loop you actually use

  • Create a project from the HENSYNTH dashboard. Each project holds one aircraft definition, one requirement set, and the latest analysis result.
  • Geometry on the Aircraft page: wing, fuselage, horizontal and vertical tails, propulsion layout, and a 3D view you can drag when WebGPU is available. Save geometry before you run.
  • Requirements on the Requirements page: range, endurance, cruise speed and altitude, stall cap, takeoff and landing limits, climb rate, payload, span cap, battery cap, and reserve state of charge. Each field has a help control that explains what you are entering.
  • Run screening from the project workspace. When the run completes, the Requirements run report shows predicted metrics and the compliance matrix.
  • Synthesize candidates when feasibility allows: minimum MTOW, maximum endurance, minimum energy, and a balanced design — style searches, not a certified shortlist.
  • Download or mail zip technical reports from the requirements run panel or from each candidate card.
  • Analysis pages — Mission (mission-opt and battery replay), Performance predictions, Trades sweeps, Optimize range search, and Reports for the analyze PDF.

HEN-AI sits on top, not underneath

HEN-AI can explain stored results, propose requirement edits, and follow the page you are on. If a value was not calculated by HENSYNTH, the assistant says so — it does not fill gaps with plausible numbers. Physics stays in the engine; language stays in the dock.

Plans and HENFOIL

HENSYNTH shares the HENDOI account with HENFOIL. Student is USD 9 per month, Professional USD 29, Team USD 89 — the same tiers as on the pricing page. Launch HENFOIL from the HENSYNTH dashboard when the wing sections need a polar before you lock planform. Section work and aircraft synthesis are two products with one sign-in, not one merged solver.

What we will not claim on day one

There is no public benchmark page that scores HENSYNTH against tunnel data on a fixed aircraft list. Screening uses textbook and handbook methods appropriate to conceptual design. Agreement with your own measurements is something you validate in your process — not something this announcement asserts. HENSYNTH is live because the workflow is complete enough to ship: geometry, requirements, run, compliance, synthesis, Mission, Performance, Trades, Optimize, and report handoff.

In simple words: what this page is for

HENSYNTH is live. Geometry, requirements, Run, synthesize, Mission, Performance, Trades, Optimize and Reports — conceptual analysis only, not certification.

This lesson exists because aircraft teams often jump to heavy CFD before the mission is even closed. HENSYNTH is live: aircraft conceptual design in the browser keeps the focus on conceptual screening you can explain in review.

Why the topic matters

Engineers lose time when a title sounds clear but the page only sketches the idea. This article expands HENSYNTH is live: aircraft conceptual design in the browser so you can answer three questions without jargon: what is the idea, when do you use it, and how do you check it in a HENDOI product.

Read the sections above for the core definitions. Use the steps below to move from reading into a real project trail you can share with a teammate.

How to apply this in HENDOI

In practice: open HENSYNTH after you sign in, set or confirm geometry, write mission targets on Requirements, Run screening, then read PASS / FAIL with margins. Use Mission, Performance, Trades, Optimize and Reports only after the screening snapshot exists. Numbers come from stored runs — the product does not invent missing values.

If you still need the wing section itself, finish that work in HENFOIL first, then continue the aircraft in HENSYNTH. One HENDOI account covers both. Plans stay Student USD 9, Professional USD 29 and Team USD 89.

What this page will not claim: HENSYNTH is conceptual and preliminary screening. It is not wind-tunnel data, not certification CFD, and not a compliance certificate for an authority. PASS / FAIL means requirement-versus-prediction inside the product.

Checklist before you leave this page

  • Can you state the idea of HENSYNTH is live: aircraft conceptual design in the browser in one sentence?
  • Do you know which product owns the next action — HENSYNTH or HENFOIL?
  • Will every number you keep carry a method label or a stored-run source?
  • If you are new here, have you opened Register or Login?

Both products live

Use this lesson in the HENDOI workspace

This page sits in Product. HENFOIL and HENSYNTH are both live on one account. These articles are screening lessons — not certification reports.

Live · section

HENFOIL

Turn this lesson into a section you can draw, check, analyse and compare. Run the polar at the Reynolds number of the vehicle. The method name stays on the result.
