HENFOIL and HENSYNTH: section workspace to aircraft screening
HENDOI · 29 October 2026
HENFOIL is the airfoil and section loop; HENSYNTH is geometry, requirements, run, compliance, and synthesis. One HENDOI login, handoff from the dashboard, no merged solver fantasy.
Two products, one account
HENFOIL is the browser airfoil workspace: generate or import a section, run named methods, compare polars, export reports, and hand rotors a 360° deck. HENSYNTH is the live aircraft workspace: save wing and tail geometry, enter mission requirements, Run screening, read compliance, synthesize four style candidates, and zip reports. Both use the same HENDOI sign-in and the same plan tiers — Student USD 9, Professional USD 29, Team USD 89 monthly.
Neither product replaces the other. HENSYNTH does not run a full viscous polar session for every wing station; HENFOIL does not size MTOW against a twelve-field requirement matrix. The sensible workflow uses each tool for the job it owns.
When to start in HENFOIL
- You are choosing or defending a section before the wing planform is frozen.
- You need a geometry gate on thickness, camber, and trailing edge before trusting a polar.
- You must export a polar or rotor deck with method labels intact.
- You are comparing XFOIL validation imports against HENFOIL predictions on Validation — still screening, not tunnel certification.
When to work in HENSYNTH
- You have or need a full aircraft configuration: wing, fuselage, tails, propulsion.
- Mission caps — range, endurance, field length, span, battery — drive PASS/FAIL.
- You want synthesis to propose alternate wing loadings and battery fractions against the same requirements.
- You need a requirements run zip or candidate package for a multidisciplinary review.
Handoff between dashboards
From HENSYNTH dashboard, Go to Henfoil creates a handoff code and opens HENFOIL with the same user id. From the company My Dashboard, launch tiles pick the product explicitly. Airfoil coordinates and aircraft geometry remain separate data models; you carry engineering intent across products, not an automatic sync of every polar into every wing station without your import choices.
Shared limits on claims
Both products are conceptual screening environments. HENFOIL refuses to invent coefficients; HENSYNTH refuses to invent metrics on the run report. Neither is a wind tunnel, neither issues airworthiness approval, and neither should be quoted as validated against experiment unless you brought that evidence in your own process.
One subscription, two decision trails
Student unlocks the same tool routes; limits differ by projects, polars, reports, and team sharing as on the pricing page. Use HENFOIL for the section decision trail and HENSYNTH for the aircraft requirement trail — two live products, one engineering account.
In simple words: what this page is for
HENFOIL is the airfoil and section loop; HENSYNTH is geometry, requirements, run, compliance, and synthesis. One HENDOI login, handoff from the dashboard, no merged solver fantasy.
This lesson exists because aircraft teams often jump to heavy CFD before the mission is even closed. HENFOIL and HENSYNTH: section workspace to aircraft screening keeps the focus on conceptual screening you can explain in review.
Why the topic matters
Engineers lose time when a title sounds clear but the page only sketches the idea. This article expands HENFOIL and HENSYNTH: section workspace to aircraft screening so you can answer three questions without jargon: what is the idea, when do you use it, and how do you check it in a HENDOI product.
Read the sections above for the core definitions. Use the steps below to move from reading into a real project trail you can share with a teammate.
How to apply this in HENDOI
In practice: open HENSYNTH after you sign in, set or confirm geometry, write mission targets on Requirements, Run screening, then read PASS / FAIL with margins. Use Mission, Performance, Trades, Optimize and Reports only after the screening snapshot exists. Numbers come from stored runs — the product does not invent missing values.
If you still need the wing section itself, finish that work in HENFOIL first, then continue the aircraft in HENSYNTH. One HENDOI account covers both. Plans stay Student USD 9, Professional USD 29 and Team USD 89.
What this page will not claim: HENSYNTH is conceptual and preliminary screening. It is not wind-tunnel data, not certification CFD, and not a compliance certificate for an authority. PASS / FAIL means requirement-versus-prediction inside the product.

Use this lesson in the HENDOI workspace
This page sits in Product. HENFOIL and HENSYNTH are both live on one account. These articles are screening lessons — not certification reports.
